Would have been impressive if they could put a photo of a tire/wheel from an AMG/Mercedes SLS and bring it totally "on-center".
Absolute sim-driving effort indeed., only wish is for more weather effects ( rain, fog, snow etc. ).. GT6 maybe?
That's one sweet sim-ride!
Just to add my own speculation.. I think GT6 will take a shorter time to finish because it will sort of have the same building blocks as GT5 but with a few more finer tweaks, more added features ( maybe DLC and/or better/more sorted track editor than limited on GT5 who knows? ), definitely new cars ( production, concepts of this time ) and tracks.
Only question will be is will it be on the PS3 system?
..to use this on driving/racing games. Period.
Says on anther article here - release date "on or about" Nov. 30, 2010 and this came out from an official Sony website.
As for pics me'thinks they dumbed down GT5:Prologue photos..
Don't want to think about GT6 just excited GT5 has now an official release date.
Good news indeed!.. but reads "on or about" 11/30/2010.
I don't want to doubt anymore and hope with all hope this is absolutely true and official.
Story behind Isuzu 4200R Concept { 5th car after Volkswagen Kombi } included at GT5 - ( http://eu.gran-turismo.com/... ).
Kaz-san is part correct with his comment about " being pressed as we speak " only question is by how much?.. and add to that if those pressed Blu-Ray games are enough to ship for all the countries involved.
I still think with a lot of disappointment about the delay that it has to come from Sony.
Haven't pre-ordered since I'm not interested in getting Signature series but will get Collector's instead and think they won't be running out of that one on release date ( once they actually nail a bloody exact date ).
Just hope it's before Christmas.
Haven't bought the game yet, but any news for PS3 or XBox360 patch?
Keep all the good things that made PGR4 a very good game - change of weather, a lot of really good tracks, of course the bikes and then make the experience of sim-driving in the league of Forza3 and the like.
If Sony had complied and released GT5 today ( Nov.3 ) they would have had an absolute great bumper and record year of sales since this month starts when anything and everything on retail is at it's peak.
Just think about that.
I'm sure a lot out there are so disappointed as I am, well at least next year me'thinks once February/March 2011 hits expect some/or even a lot of shops offering discounts on games - GT5 included which is some good news.
Think it's time we sort of have a people power on the 'net and demand Sony make a release date..
I hear their gonna have the U.S. TopGear test track on this game.. True?
I remember PGR4 especially the changing of weather, the bikes and old racing cars with their skinny threads doing hot laps at the "Ring" in snow!!
It also had a lot of very good tracks.
Hope they keep all those good things and make the cars drive as similar to Forza3.
All these dates are mere conspiracies.. I'll believe it only if it came off a Sony press release.
I do think ( in theory only ) that a late Christmas or dare say early New Year release is sort of not good for marketing ( but good for us gamers! ) because once February hits, some or a lot of shops will be inclined to put prices down ( which means reduction, which means bargains during this time ).
I'm still not sure why F1 2010 is cheaper than 2010 FIA-WRC whether it be on the XBox360 or PS3..
Me like those Nike GT/Shox and think it's 1/43 die-cast scale model of Citroen GT and 1/18 die scale of Autoart Ford GT LM Spec ( all-black and all-white ).
